Our club training tonight was just plainly a lot of fun. It was great to have all our teams together and working together. Parents thank you for your outstanding support of your kids. Thank you NCSA players for your hard work and dedication to your teams. Thank you coaches for everything you do for us! The bigger and future picture was clearly on display tonight.
The NCSA F

More NCSA success! The NCSA Rangers Premier U14 boys team took runner-up honors in the Juventus Tournament of Champions (July 31 and August 1). They again played up an age division level (U15 boys) in this tournament. The Rangers scored 16 goals in the four tournament matches. This outstanding goal production was truly a team effort as seven different Ranger players scored on the weekend.
Congratulations guys! You represent NCSA well.

The NCSA Rangers Premier U13 boys team captured the US Club Soccer Regional Championship in the Premier Division with a dominating 3-1 finals victory over HSC United 96. Having dropped a 1-2 decision to HSC United on Sunday revenge was the order of the day on Tuesday. The hard fought match was knotted at 1-1 at the break. However, the second half belonged to the Rangers as two outstanding goals lead the way to the championship and a bid to the National Tournament in Virginia. GREAT JOB and CONGRATULATIONS to all the players, coaches and supporters!

NCSA teams competed in their first tournament as a club this past Memorial Day weekend and were terrific. Our NCSA Fusion U14 girls played up in the U15 age group and while not advancing to the championship rounds had a great showing allowing only 3 total goals in three matches over the weekend. The NCSA Red Xtreme U12 girls allowed only ONE goal on the weekend and garner fourth place honors after dropping their final match in a penalty kick shootout. The NCSA Velocity U13 boys collected a third place medal after outstanding victories over Placer United and Tracy Futbol Club in the consolation finals. Playing up an age group in the U14 bracket our NCSA Rangers U13 boys brought home second place honors in the tournament with an excellent effort that led to 3 wins over older teams before dropping their final match. It was a great weekend and amazing to see so much support offered to all our teams.

The NCSA Red Xtreme U12 girls have completed their first NorCal Spring League season with a very respectable 4 win – 4 lost – 2 tie record and are currently ranked third in the Premier Division of the league. Congratulations to the Team and Coach Trace Hollis for an outstanding first showing.
Please join us in congratulating NCSA players Alex Hernandez, Nate Edwards and Chase Andrade on their selection as three of the eighteen players chosen to represent the 1997 Boy's ODP State Team at the Nike Friendship Cup in Beaverton, Oregon on Memorial Day weekend. Additionally, congratulations to Ramiro Ceja and Matt Hurlbut for their hard work in all ODP State Team trainings over the recent weeks. All five of these players jointly with the entire NCSA U14 Boys Premier team have worked together to shuffle their spring playing schedule to allow Alex, Nate, Chase, Ramiro & Matt to take advantage of this outstanding opportunity. All five of these players will have the opportunity to attend the ODP Regional Camp to earn a spot on the ODP Regional Team. Well done guys!

Fun and outstanding youth soccer held the day as three NCSA teams made their NorCal Spring League debut. NCSA Director, Dave de Hart noted that, "the family atmosphere, positive support from parents and friends and the support from team to team within the club is what we're most pleased with. I’m sure we’re getting this right.”

NCSA Club Director, Dave de Hart, and CVSC Club Director, Reggie Rivas, are proud to announce the cooperative affiliation of their Northern and Southern California Soccer Clubs. The two clubs which share a “bigger picture” player development philosophy will work together in a joint venture to increase soccer development opportunities for their clubs’ players and families.
Reggie Rivas, a former CYSA-North state and regional team player from Modesto, California, has build CVSC from its two team beginning over 10 years ago to the 25 team club they are today. Reggie was a standout player on many of Dave de Harts’ top Modesto youth teams of the late 1980’s. “I am excited to be working with Dave on this project. He has been my most influential soccer mentor. I value his friendship and guidance always”.
The clubs will work together to provide player and coach developmental training clinics, as well as, cost effective inter-club friendly matches. “This is an amazing opportunity for our players to experience playing and development opportunities beyond the Central Valley norm”, said de Hart. “I always look forward to working with Reggie. His positive energy and enthusiasm are what teaching and youth soccer is all about”.
